NINON LACROIX

NINON LACROIX

From January until March 2026

After completing a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at PSL/Lycée Henri IV – ENS Ulm, Ninon enrolled in the Master’s programme in photography at the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière. At the same time, she completed a Master’s degree in filmmaking at the École documentaire de Lussas. After graduating in 2022, she continued her work on language and speech in romantic relationships.

Ninon lacroix’s  work explores through photography, video and installation, the intimate aspects of existence and the invisible communications that connect individuals, such as imagination, memory and history. She question the impact of the unconscious constructs on personal lives and the possibility, or impossibility, of community building.

Ninon has undertaken in-depth research into documentary practices and the ethical question of representing others. This exploration has found an extension in her artistic practice, where she actively work on developing participatory methods. Currently she is developing a feature-length documentary project around romantic narratives as well as an installation project.
